At the intersection of Shota Rustaveli and Zhilyanskaya streets, the Holy Trinity Church, which was destroyed in the last century, is being restored. It was transferred to this area in 1858 - earlier the church was located on Vladimirskaya Street.
The temple is being restored according to the pre-revolutionary project of the diocesan architect Yevgeny Ermakov - with neo-Russian style motifs in the design. "Metalroof LTD" performs works on roofing, manufacturing and finishing roofing of domes, under-dome drums, installation of domes and drums. Materials with excellent anti-corrosion properties are used - copper, titanium-zinc, stainless steel.
On June 25, 2021, on the day of the memory of the Monk Onuphry the Great, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kiev and All Ukraine led the rite of consecrating the dome crosses for the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
