Description:
Konstamonitou Monastery is an Orthodox Greek monastery on Mount Athos, consecrated in the name of Stephen the First Martyr. Founded in the XI century, the twentieth in the hierarchy of the Mount Athos monasteries. The cathedral dedicated to the holy first martyr Stephen was built in the years 1860-1871.
In 2019-2020, it was decided to repair the cathedral, including a complete replacement of the roof. The Metalroof company was chosen as contractor, because of great experience in roofing of domes and temples.
Quite complex roof will be done in two stages - first, the domes will be completed, after which the main roof of the temple will be arranged.
